Getting from here to there. The workshop for beginners will be where we get an overview of all the steps from raw lumber to finished sign carving, sharpening, gold leafing, finishing, design in general and much more of course. It will run from Thursday night through to Sunday afternoon. Cost will be $390 Canadian per person and class is limited to 10 participants. Further workshop descriptions to follow as well as dates expected to begin Fall of 1908 Advanced workshop. Need I say more? This is where we'll delve deeply into the process and particpants are expected to already have a high level of proficiency. In general we'll explore the nuances of sharpening, joinery, woods, and the all encompassing "Design for Technique" with an overview of decoration and leafing. This workshop will run an extra day, with a Wednesday evening start and farewells about mid-day Sunday. Also limited to a class size of 10 and cost will be $460 canadian. At this time we are working on building a new shop with easy access to BandB's restaurants, pubs and services in close proximity, hence the late starting dates for the fun.
